Thanksgiving Turkey on the BBQ!

We had a really wonderful Thanksgiving this year, since we were without a deep fryer and peanut oil we decided to cook a turkey on the BBQ grill. It was a great experience that led to a real treat. It was the best turkey I have ever had, I know, it sounds a bit prideful especially since I am the one who made it, but it was still really, really nice, plus I can't take all the credit, it was my lovely wife that seasoned and rubbed it down for me with a nice cajun flavor.

It is our hope and prayer that all had many things to give thanks to the Lord for this year. Truly as difficult as times can be, it is always appropriate to give thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His love endures forever. I pray that this Christmas season all of can maintain the right perspective in the middle of the commercial activity that this season lends to. As much of a cliche as it may sound, "Jesus really is the reason for the season". Let us rejoice together as we consider the great, amazing, unfathomable gift we have been given in a Deliverer, a Saviour.

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!
