Visit to Buckland Monachorum
For church this morning we went to visit Simon's fathers church. He is an Anglican Vicar and his Parish is in Buckland Monachorum. It is a small village on the outskirts of Plymouth. It was their family service, the kids had a great time going up front. It was an amazing village that had many beautiful views to offer. All in all we had a great day, we joined the Cotter family at the Vicarage for a Sunday roast after service.
The church was amazing, it was built before the United States of America was even found. It was built in 1490. Not only that, but it was the church the Sir Francis Drake attended as he was from Buckland Monachorum. His family is burried under the church. We are so blessed as the Lord allows us to be here, a place filled with much history.
