Plymouth Trip

Visit from Derek and Allison Forbes

While Andy and his team were here with us, Derek and Allison also made their way to Exeter for a visit. It was so nice to see them as well. They visited from Chennai India where Derek serves with BGEA in preparations for an upcoming festival. They spent 6 days with us, a much needed 6 days on our behalf.

While they were here we made our way to Plymouth to the Mayflower Steps, a location very near where the pilgrims set sail to America in 1617. We were able to spend the day in Plymouth and see all the sites. Derek and Allison were a real encouragement to us, it was exciting to hear of all that the Lord is doing in their lives as well as their marriage.

Between the 2 teams that we had here, both were able to minister in very practical ways to the city. Derek and Allison as well as Jim and Mary were able to join us in ministering to the homeless, a much needed area of ministry. I pray that at some point the Lord will bring them back to Exeter to minister.

We love you guys and can't wait to see you again!

Visit from Calvary Chapel Farmington

We were recently visited by Andy and Kim Fine as well as Bob and Oni Lippincott from Calvary Chapel Farmington. It was so great to have them here to fellowship with us. It always does us a bit of good to have a few Yankees come and visit us here in England. They were a real blessing to us, Andy was able to share with the body from Ephesians 2 and encourage us with what we have in Christ.

We miss them already and hope they can come back to visit soon.

4th of July

The closest fireworks we can watch is from Disneyland and the Hudson River over YOUTUBE...
Did a little of history with the kids, did some craft, made some red, white and blue food through out the day.
We ended our evening with BBQ dinner at the LivingRoom with some of our friends.

Calvary Chapel UK Pastor's Conference 09

This past week, Mon - Thurs we had the opportunity to head to the north country of England. We attended the UK Pastor's and Leader's Conference. It was a great time of fellowship and being built up in the Word. It's great to hear that everybody goes through the same things.

York is also a beautiful city, they have a massive cathedral in the city center. The weather was amazing too, this week the Uk has been experiencing a heat wave across the country. All in all, it was a great time to get away for a few days, praise the Lord!
