Hannah's 6th B-day

We recently celebrated Hannah"s 6th B-day at The Cheesecake Factory. We all had a great time, the Gaines family joined us in her birthday celebration. I can hardly believe that Hannah is 6 yrs old already. It seems like yesterday she was born. We are so blessed by her as she is growing and developing to be a wonderful women of God.

Please continue to pray for Hannah, that she might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That she might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness. Col 1:9-11

Derek and Allison Engagement

CONGRATS! Derek and Allison on your engagement. We are so stoked for you guys in this engagement. We are totally blessed to be a part of your guys' lives as you seek to follow the Lord together, as one. We are excited for all that the Lord has in store for you guys.

We have a great love and affection for the both of you and can't wait to see you guys again. We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to spend some time with you guys while Derek was here in California. We will be praying for you guys as you have many plans to make a head of you.

Sunday Morning Service and Church Picnic at CC Whittier

Last Sunday we were able to spend the day with our friends at Calvary Chapel Whittier. I was able to encourage the body through the Word and then we went to a local park in Whittier where they kicked off the summer with a church picnic. My hat's off to the cooks as they fixed up some incredible carne and pollo asada. Everything was wonderful.

The kids also had the opportunity to run around playing games and acting like monkey's. As you can see by the bottom picture that they wore themselves out, we then made the long drive to San Diego where we were able to spend some time with Sandra's family.

Thanks Pastor Alvin and Calvary Chapel Whittier for everything, you guys have been a tremendous blessing to us, we love you guys.

Beach Day

Legoland Trip

Last week we took the kids to Legoland for Hannah's 6th Birthday.

It was a surprise for Hannah and the kids. We were also joined by the Gaines family. We spent practically the whole day at Legoland and then went to Pizza Port in Carlsbad, Ca. They have the best pizza around.

It was so hot, but we all had a great time.

Another Okinawa Reunion

The past weekend upon our arrival in California we were able to reunite with many friends from Okinawa. It was a fantastic time, we had brunch at El Torrito then spent time together at Hunington Beach soaking up the sun and salt water. We were also joined by Brent and Cathy Mize, they came from Las Vegas for the weekend.

Micah's Visit to the Dentist

Micah recently made a visit to the dentist for a cleaning. Unfortnately her also had to have some very small "sugar bugs" filled. He, like Hannah did very well throughout the entire appointment, even through the "sleepy juice".

The odd things is that they look forward to going back to the dentist in the future. I'm not sure why, but I think that's a good thing.
