The closest fireworks we can watch is from Disneyland and the Hudson River over YOUTUBE...
Did a little of history with the kids, did some craft, made some red, white and blue food through out the day.
We ended our evening with BBQ dinner at the LivingRoom with some of our friends.

Calvary Chapel UK Pastor's Conference 09

This past week, Mon - Thurs we had the opportunity to head to the north country of England. We attended the UK Pastor's and Leader's Conference. It was a great time of fellowship and being built up in the Word. It's great to hear that everybody goes through the same things.

York is also a beautiful city, they have a massive cathedral in the city center. The weather was amazing too, this week the Uk has been experiencing a heat wave across the country. All in all, it was a great time to get away for a few days, praise the Lord!

Dave's Baptism

Last weekend on Father's Day my older brother was baptized at Calvary Chapel Farmington. I was totally blessed to hear from him and his decision to do so. It is also amazing to see God doing such a great work in his life. Congratulations Dave! we rejoice with you.

Hannah's 7th B-day!

Happy Birthday Hannah!

On Tuesday Hannah turned 7, I can't hardly believe it. We had a really gun time celebrating her birthday. She invited over some of her friends to come and celebrate with her.

The night before, I was able to take her out for a strawberry shake and a stroll through town with daddy. I am so amazed with her and the little girl that she is turning out to be. I enjoy her so much and feel so blessed to have her as my daughter.

This past Sunday Phil Pechonis came from North Devon to share about Creation Fest as well as from the Book of Acts, it was a real blessing to hear from Phil.

First Trip to the Beach!

Yesterday we took a day trip to Poole, it is about a 2 hour drive to get there. We went to visit some friends that are visiting family in Poole, it was an amazing trip.

The beach was amazing, it is rated the #1 beach in England, the water temperature surprisingly tolerable as well.

Sorry it has been a while since we last updated the blog, we have been quite busy with different things.

The summer has finally come, I hope that it stays for a while. We have had the past few days to hang out in the sun, it has been really great. Although there is fore casted rain coming this weekend.

WOW, what a ride has it been with the LORD...Truly been amazing to look back the past 8years together..and we have many more things to learn as we walk this life together with JESUS and all of you......Thank you family and friends for being part of our lives together with our family.

Velarde's are on the road again

Praise the Lord for His faithfulness, after 2 months of being on foot we are back on the road again after the Lord provided the funds necessary to get another people carrier.

Thank you everybody for your prayers, we pray that you are encouraged upon seeing the faithfulness of the Lord. Please pray that it will be dependable for us.

Daddy's day out with the girls

Today, I took the girls out for a date at Hannah's favorite coffee shop for a Cream Tea. It was a lot of fun spending time with my girls.

This past weekend, our community hosted a party in the local park. It was a great time. We had a friend who was singing in the choir that was from the University of Exeter.
